Excitement is in the air as we gear up to unveil the very first Doncaster Balloon Festival on July 19th and 20th, 2024! Hosted by the Show Time Events Group, this eagerly awaited event is poised to take our beloved hometown by storm and showcase the very best of Doncaster to the world.

Highlights: Undoubtedly, the highlight of the festival will be the hot air balloon displays. Watch in awe as the balloons are inflated and prepared for flight, before taking to the skies in a breathtaking mass ascent. It’s a moment that promises to be truly unforgettable, as the vibrant colours paint a picture-perfect backdrop against the Doncaster skyline. Don’t forget to stay for the evening to see the spectacular balloon glow before finishing with a fireworks finale.

American Civil War Society (ACWS): Immerse yourself in history with the ACWS, the UK’s largest American Civil War re-enactment society. Witness thrilling battles, displays of period medical techniques, and authentic camps.
The Vikings: Embark on a journey to the Early Middle Ages with The Vikings, known for their high-standard presentations, historically accurate combat displays, and living history villages.
Flotsam the Fools Circus Workshop: It is not just a performance; it’s an immersive and interactive journey into the enchanting world of circus arts.
